Specialized Surgeries

If your pet requires orthopedic, intraocular (i.e., eye), heart, endocrine, or other delicate surgeries that require specialized knowledge and equipment, we may refer you to a local veterinary specialist who can provide your pet the high-level care they deserve.

We know that many pet owners are concerned when their pet needs to undergo general anesthesia, and want to assure you that we take every possible precaution to ensure your pet’s safety. All surgery patients undergo basic pre-procedure blood work to ensure they’re healthy enough for anesthesia, and we may recommend additional tests for older patients or those with existing medical conditions. We use the newest, safest anesthetics, and a certified staff member monitors your pet throughout their procedure. We also provide pain control before, during, and after every surgery to ensure a faster, more comfortable recovery.
